Who We Are
Akaalo is a non-profit social enterprise based in Nansana, Uganda, dedicated to empowering marginalized youth.
We provide education, vocational training, and employment opportunities that open doors to long-term stability.
Nansana, a fast-growing town just north of Kampala, reflects the challenges faced by many semi-urban and rural communities in Uganda: rapid population growth, limited digital access, and high youth unemployment.
Our work also extends into rural Central Uganda, ensuring no young person is left behind.
What We Do

Run Nambi, our localized AI tutor and learning system that provides interactive lessons offline, even where internet access is unreliable or unaffordable.
